The Nurse Transition Program in Scottsdale, AZ was great. Lots of much needed experience and getting to be a REAL nurse 🙂 It was 10 weeks long (and I think it should’ve been about 7, but nobody asked me!) and there are worse places to be stuck for 10 weeks. Scottsdale is amazing- lots of shopping, great restaurants, and wonderful sites to see! My dear Mom came out for  a weekend and we made it to Sedona. It was beeeeeaaaauutiful!

So, where am I now? Biloxi, MS

This is where I’m supposed to be! It’s time to move in!!

Wait… I have to go somewhere else? More training?! Another 6 weeks?!

Yep. That’s the military.

I’ll be in Biloxi about a week when I have to head back to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX on May 3rd. I’ll be going through a Perinatal Course- which is exciting for me because that’s what I’m interested in! Finally some nursing experience that I’m really in to. Now, as excited as I am about the training, I’m pretty bummed about being homeless another 6 weeks. I’ll be back in Biloxi mid-June, which will make 5 months gone and unsettled. I cannot WAIT to be back with my husband and unpack my bags for good. We’re looking forward to finding somewhere to live– on base? off base? purchase or rental!? I’m so looking forward to having a place to open up all my wedding gifts and actually use them! It’s hard knowing that I have all these awesome things sitting at my house and no where to use them yet.  Good thing I have a year to write Thank You cards… I hope people don’t think I’m just being rude 😉

Erbody knows you. They know you’re not rude, just busy. We know how the military is. Hurry up, and wait. They’ll appreciate your thanks when they get it, and be glad you’re settled. Thank you for serving us and our country. “Off we go, into the wild blue yonder…”

Yes, please hurry and get to Mississippi so I will have somewhere to stay when I go to concerts @ the Hard Rock Hotel.
